Baskin Robbins 8 scoops for only RM 9.90+!

It's been awhile since the last time I had my ice cream treat. Hahaha. Baskin Robbins ada promotion untuk setiap hari Rabu - Pink Day! Apa yang anda boleh dapat dari Pink Day promotion?

1. Happy 8! (8 scoops of ice cream) for RM 9.90
2. Double Junior Scoop for RM 7.50
3. Mini Waffle Sundae for RM 9.90

I took the Happy 8 promotion. So there will be 8 scoops in a waffle! In other words, you can have 8 different flavor in your cup. However, you can only choose 4 scoops for your own flavor. The other 4 are permanant which is:

1. Jamoca Almond Fudge
2. Cookies n' Cream
3. World Class Choclate
4. Very Bery Strawberry

Jamoca Almond Fudge
"Our own Jamoca® ice cream with a chocolate fudge ribbon and roasted almonds."
I really love the Jamoca ice cream! So do everyone. So what's Jamoca? Its coffee actually :) However, unlike everyone else I don't like the Almond. I prefer Almond diced.

Cookies n' Cream
"Vanilla ice cream with lots of cookie chunks throughout."
One of my favorite. Ice cream flavor where people like to said ice cream with oreo. It's nice to try.

World Class Chocolate
"A tempting mix of white and dark chocolate mousse ice creams."
It was my first flavor experienced at Baskin Robbins and fall in love with it. It is not too sweet so I love it :)

Very Bery Strawberry
"Strawberry ice cream loaded with real strawberries."
Not in my favorite list. If you like strawberry you may want to try this flavor. It is also less sweet and little bit sour.


4 perisa yang lain? Hmm, World Class Chocolate dah termasuk dalam permanent ice cream. So what should I choose. Based on the availability of flavor at the store, I choose:

1. Cotton Candy
2. Mint Chocolate Chip
3. Love potion
4. Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

Cotton Candy
"A swirl of pink & purple cotton candy ice cream."
This was also my first flavor experience at Baskin Robbins and I love it very much. Owh kids also love it. Beware! It has higher sweetness level.

Min Chocolate Chip
"Mint ice cream with lots of chocolate chips."
Most people like this flavor - excluded me. For me, I felt the mint ice cream little bit weird. It almost taste like, urm toothpaste? Own never mind, this is my personal experience and taste. You can try this flavor cause it was not too bad.

Love Potion
"Fall in love with white chocolate flavored and raspberry ice creams, a raspberry ribbon, chocolate chips, and raspberry-filled chocolate flavored hearts."
Also one of my favorite, where mostly this flavor will available on February. Another most wanted flavor.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
"Vanilla ice cream with chunks of real semisweet chocolate chip cookie dough and chocolate chips."
Seldom take this flavor because it is not in my top list. Oh well, its taste was not bad.

Hey everyone have their own favorite list. If you are not sure which flavor to pick or you had doubt in my review, you can always try each available flavor at the store for free! Ask for it :)

Owh, the scooping size is smaller than junior scoop. At least, you can have many different flavor. And the waffle (vanilla) taste delicious!

Old Town White Coffee: Honey BBQ Chicken Rice

I didn't know what should I have for lunch. Terasa macam nak memasak kat rumah tapi budak rumah pulak keluar. Tak berbaloi pulak masak. So I decided to have my lunch at Old Town White Coffee. Well they have lunch set promotion :)

Asyik makan Mee Kari saja, dah agak bosan lah. I'm browsing the whole menu and come out with this order - Honey BBQ Chicken Rice. Ayam dia dengan sauce topping dia tak mengecewakan. Rasa manis dia okay lah dan tak berapa manis sangat. Tapi sayang sangat nasi ayam nya tak terasa lansung macam nasi ayam - lebih kepada nasi putih :( Tapi tak sangka pun menu ni di datangi dengan telur sebab biasa nya kalau makan Honey BBQ Chicken Rice mesti ayam sahaja, takkan ada telur.

Saja nak try Limau Ais sebab selalunya pesan Teh Tarik saja. Kecewa! Terlalu masam - sukar untuk diterima lidah aku. Terpaksa minta air suam untuk kurang kan rasa masam yang melampau. Baik, lain kali takkan pesan dah Limau Ais.

The Honey BBQ Chicken Rice quite good. Currently ranking number 3 in my list. Tak boleh kalah lagi lah Honey BBQ Chicken Rice kat The Chicken Rice Shop (2nd place) dengan Foodcourt Setia City Mall (1st place). Owh this lunch set cost me RM 10.50++

Polperro Grilled Chicken Black Pepper

This Grilled Chicken comes with three side dishes - baked beans, coleslaw and a piece of bread. Aku pernah terfikir nak pergi kedai ni sebab selalunya lalu je sampai Ayu sendiri yang cakap dia pernah makan sini. So I guess its okay for me to have a try :) Kedai ni kat Seksyen 7 area Jalan Kristal kat kawasan Mydin dan Speedmart.

I really love its black pepper sauce. For me, its tasty! Tapi, masa aku makan ni, ayam dia agak liat sedikit dan sedikit sukar untuk dikunyah. Coleslaw dia biasa seperti coleslaw lain yang pernah aku rasa - nothing special for me. Roti dia pun biasa. Baked beans? Hehehe saya tak makan :) Take it with iced tea. Frankly speaking, aku dah lupa harga dia tapi kalau tak silap Grilled Chicken Black Pepper ni harga dia RM 11.90 or around that price.

Ayam Penyet Nusantara

 

The best Ayam Penyet in Shah Alam. Kedai ni memang warga Shah Alam mesti tahu. Especially student. Biasa kedai ni aku tahu sebagai Pecel Lele Padang Jawa. Tapi, haritu ada member kata kat aku kedai ni nama dia Nusantara. Aku pun tak berapa sure.

Ayam penyet dia sedap, sambal tu tak berapa pedas. Dia macam sambal tomato - masam - masam pedas, tapi pedas dia tak sepedas sup kosong dia. Nampak je macam sup kosong biasa, tapi cuba lah hirup. Memang pedas. Bagusnya kedai ni, nasi boleh ambik sebanyak mana yang kita nak. Kemudian order sekali dengan Extra Joss Blackcurrant. Tak berapa ingat harga dia, tapi semua sekali aku kena bayar time ni RM 6.50 sahaja.

Kedai ni, hari Jumaat tengahari takkan dibuka lansung untuk kaum Adam sampai habis Solat Jumaat. Bagus kan :)

Chicken Chop Set

This Chicken Chop Set come with Fries, Coeslaw and some vegetables. Tapi rasa dia biasa je. Taklah sangat sedap dan taklah pulak tak sedap. Bolehlah masuk ke perut melalui tekak. Tapi suka presentation dia agak menarik. Lagi - lagi mayonis tu. Ini untuk makan malam dekat satu Restoran namanya Restoran Bisik - Bisik, terletak di seksyen 7 berhampiran dengan Unisel.

Choclate Moist Cake

Chocolate Moist Cake rich with chocolate toppings. Well, semuanya bermula dengan rancangan nak buat birthday surprise kat member aku, Cisco. Aku dengan eda berpakatlah nak beli kek, tapi kitaorang yang nak buat surprise ni total cuma empat orang sahaja. Nak dijadikan cerita kek setengah kilo bagi kitaorang pun terlampau banyak.

Sambungan ceritanya si Eda cadangkan untuk membeli Chocolate Moist Cake ni. Tapi kitaorang beli kek ni pun kat Petronas je! Memang kosong. Kemudian kitaorang guna MnM Minis untuk hias atas dia - design nama Cisco. Kek dia memang sedap. Tapi jangan makan banyak sangat dalam satu masa, nanti boleh muak sebab penuh dengan kelazatan coklat!

Maaf, aku tak ingat siapa pengedar dia. Tapi dijual di Petronas sebelah Unisel. :)

Chicken Chop Set

Chicken Chop set come with fries and coeslaw. Black pepper sauce dia boleh tahan pedas. Tapi, ayam dia agak kecil berbanding standard size Chicken Chop lain yang pernah aku makan. This one only RM 8.

Tak ingat apa nama kedai dia, tapi kedai makan ni agak menarik sebab sesiapa yang minat memancing, kolam memancing disediakan di sini. Kira main attraction Kolam memancing dan kedai makan ni kira macam cafe lah. Sekitar Seksyen 24 Shah Alam tapi serius tak ingat.
