Old Town White Coffee Ipoh Chicken Hor Fun

Good morning! So what do you guys have for breakfast? Seperti franchise McDonalds dan KFC, Old Town White Coffee juga mempunyai set mampu beli (murah) seperti MyBreakfast, MyLunch, MyTea, MyDinner dan MySupper. Banyak kan? Setiap hidangan set sentiasa di gandingkan dengan minuman yang boleh dipilih mengikut waktu makan anda sama ada sarapan, makan tengah hari atau makan malam. :)

I took Ipoh Chicken Hor Fun set for my breakfast today. Together with 1 drink of choice, it was only cost me RM 10.30. I didn't remember the real price for ala carte Ipoh Chicken Hor Fun. I think it was around RM 9.00++, please correct me if I was wrong ;)

Minuman pilihan hari ini - Teh Tarik Sejuk (Ais) atau kod hidangan TF4. Kebiasaannya memang pilih Teh Tarik sebagai minuman pilihan. Kadang kala terasa nak ambil Kopi Putih (White Coffee), tapi nanti takut tak tidur pula. Biasanya pergi waktu MySupper, jadi sudah terbiasa pilih Teh Tarik sebagai minuman pilihan untuk set ini. Teh Tarik dia sedap - tidak berapa manis. Tapi tak berapa suka dengan ais sahaja melebihi daripada air nya :(

For MyBreakfast and MyDinner, you can have some add on with a little cheap price. Today, I took Toasted Bread With Kaya as my add onn. Cuma RM 1.50 berbanding dengan harga normal RM 1.90. I really love Toasted Bread. Tapi kalau makan di Old Town White Coffee, Roti Bakar dia bergantung pada masa juga. Kadangkala, roti kurang di bakar dan mentega nya terlalu keras. Kadangkala roti nya cukup di bakar. Takkan boleh lawan Roti Bakar di Pak Li Kopitiam - sedap dan sentiasa mengikut standard :)

Patutnya letak sudu dan chopstick pada atas mangkuk supaya nampak lebih menarik. Hehehe, so this is the Ipoh Chicken Hor Fun - one of my favorite food at Old Town White Coffee. Selalu sangat pesan Mi Kari pun boleh jadi bosan. Ipoh Chicken Hor Fun is delicious. Ada udang dan ayam. Owh Hor Fun tu apa? Urm dia lebih kurang macam Kuey Teow. Kuah dia pun okay, tak berapa masin dan sedap untuk dihirup sehingga licin. Hahaha.

Owh you would not see any green stuff, beacuse I don't eat vegetables. Jadi tak tahu lah sayur apa yang di letak untuk pesanan biasa. This is my special request dish - NO VEGETABLES.

MyBreakfast is only availabe from opening to 11:00 AM daily. You can have up to 23 sets to be choose satrting from RM 3.90. Jadi menu apa yang berharga RM 3.90 tu? Kena lah datang dan tengok :)

IKEA Swedish Meatballs

Yay! Lama sungguh tak singgah IKEA. Since ada orang nak belanja, hehehe layan saja. Yup, most of us had already knew that IKEA was famous because of its high quality furniture. However, they are also known because of their Swedish Meatballs ;)

I would like to test other menu like Fish n' Chip but today I really craving for meatballs. (ops!)

Tak pernah pula dengar ada orang kata Meatball IKEA tak sedap! Swedish Meatball is one of my favorite. You can get it for RM 14.00 (15 pieces) and RM 17.00 (20 pieces). Rasanya dulu ada pilihan untuk 10 unit dengan harga RM 10.00 tapi tak tahu kenapa tak nampak pula pilihan tu di dinding menu hari ini. Owh there is also Swedish Meatballs for kids set - RM 5.00 for 5 pieces.

The texture of the meatball was excellent. Kemampatan dagingnya padat dan mudah untuk di makan - tidak terlampau liat dan tidak terlampau lembut. Bayangkan bagaimana mereka menjaga kualiti setiap biji bebola daging tersebut. The gravy was nice and delicious.

Kebiasaannya setiap set akan dihidangkan bersama kentang goreng (french fries). Tapi tak tahu kenapa hari ini set bebola daging ini digandingkan bersama dengan kentang putar (mashed potato). I don't really like the texture of the mashed potato - its rough. Urgh I want that french fries so bad.

Extra, I took this almond cake for my dessert. Instead of using Belgium chocolate as usual, today they use white chocolate. Hey, it taste really good. Tak berapa manis dan berkrim - lapisan coklat putih yang agak tebal di lapisan atas. Tapi tak berapa best sebab nipis :( Owh well, you can have this cake for RM 5.90 each.

For drinks, I have my Spritzer Mineral water. It only cost me RM 1.00 and its cheaper for Spritzer brand :)

Baskin Robbins 8 scoops for only RM 9.90+!

It's been awhile since the last time I had my ice cream treat. Hahaha. Baskin Robbins ada promotion untuk setiap hari Rabu - Pink Day! Apa yang anda boleh dapat dari Pink Day promotion?

1. Happy 8! (8 scoops of ice cream) for RM 9.90
2. Double Junior Scoop for RM 7.50
3. Mini Waffle Sundae for RM 9.90

I took the Happy 8 promotion. So there will be 8 scoops in a waffle! In other words, you can have 8 different flavor in your cup. However, you can only choose 4 scoops for your own flavor. The other 4 are permanant which is:

1. Jamoca Almond Fudge
2. Cookies n' Cream
3. World Class Choclate
4. Very Bery Strawberry

Jamoca Almond Fudge
"Our own Jamoca® ice cream with a chocolate fudge ribbon and roasted almonds."
I really love the Jamoca ice cream! So do everyone. So what's Jamoca? Its coffee actually :) However, unlike everyone else I don't like the Almond. I prefer Almond diced.

Cookies n' Cream
"Vanilla ice cream with lots of cookie chunks throughout."
One of my favorite. Ice cream flavor where people like to said ice cream with oreo. It's nice to try.

World Class Chocolate
"A tempting mix of white and dark chocolate mousse ice creams."
It was my first flavor experienced at Baskin Robbins and fall in love with it. It is not too sweet so I love it :)

Very Bery Strawberry
"Strawberry ice cream loaded with real strawberries."
Not in my favorite list. If you like strawberry you may want to try this flavor. It is also less sweet and little bit sour.


4 perisa yang lain? Hmm, World Class Chocolate dah termasuk dalam permanent ice cream. So what should I choose. Based on the availability of flavor at the store, I choose:

1. Cotton Candy
2. Mint Chocolate Chip
3. Love potion
4. Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

Cotton Candy
"A swirl of pink & purple cotton candy ice cream."
This was also my first flavor experience at Baskin Robbins and I love it very much. Owh kids also love it. Beware! It has higher sweetness level.

Min Chocolate Chip
"Mint ice cream with lots of chocolate chips."
Most people like this flavor - excluded me. For me, I felt the mint ice cream little bit weird. It almost taste like, urm toothpaste? Own never mind, this is my personal experience and taste. You can try this flavor cause it was not too bad.

Love Potion
"Fall in love with white chocolate flavored and raspberry ice creams, a raspberry ribbon, chocolate chips, and raspberry-filled chocolate flavored hearts."
Also one of my favorite, where mostly this flavor will available on February. Another most wanted flavor.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
"Vanilla ice cream with chunks of real semisweet chocolate chip cookie dough and chocolate chips."
Seldom take this flavor because it is not in my top list. Oh well, its taste was not bad.

Hey everyone have their own favorite list. If you are not sure which flavor to pick or you had doubt in my review, you can always try each available flavor at the store for free! Ask for it :)

Owh, the scooping size is smaller than junior scoop. At least, you can have many different flavor. And the waffle (vanilla) taste delicious!
